Nau by 812creativedesign
Nau was the name given to one of the most used types of vessels by the Portuguese throughout their commercial processes and discoveries, thus enjoying a cultural status.
Nau cutlery emerges as a metaphorical representation of the commercial relations between Portugal and the Asian countries, of which Cutipol is currently a member. In its composition, we tried to assign a drawing with a balanced relationship between form, function, and material, emphasizing the role of the product as an instrument of sensory experience.
The collection is defined by a syntactic design, summed up to its own functional intention, characterized by the triangular shape of the handle, which in addition to ensuring balance and comfort in use, reinterprets the design of the original Nau artifact - vessel.
