ALESSI - Kettle 9091
The 9091 kettle has an unusual-shaped brass melodic whistle, consisting of two small tubes in which choristers are inserted and reproduced as mi and si notes.
Richard Sapper created it inspired by a childhood memory, the poetic sound of the sirens of boats on the Rhine: because the melody that accompanies the launch of the steam must be pleasant, not anxious like the typical whistling of kettles.
A 9091 kettle is a multisensory object, which does not interrupt a pleasure pause with a whistle, but with an enveloping melody.
