The inspiration behind the dainty tumblers designed by Michael Sieger is the carefree buoyancy of a toy that wobbles back and forth when nudged. This effect is achieved thanks to the exquisitely curved base, which has a contact area with the table that is smaller than a square millimeter.
The Stand Up glass was meticulously crafted by designer Michael Sieger, who put a lot of effort into experimenting, sketching, and creating 3D prototypes to achieve the perfect balance that allows for precise movements without any spillages. The glass is also incredibly lightweight and features a meticulously curved base. Each glass is adorned with a finely engraved star at the tiny point where it rests on the table, which serves as a testament to the exceptional craftsmanship of the Milanese brand Ichendorf and symbolizes the SIEGER brand.
At the same time, these tumblers are incredibly versatile and suitable for daily use. They can be used for more than just wine and digestive because of their stemless design. Water, orange juice, gin and tonic, tea, and coffee can all be enjoyed in these tumblers.
