SERAX Marie - Vase Les Femmes 01 L
The Les Femmes collection of vases was inspired by the universal image of a strong woman. Designer Marie Michielssen always emphasizes hands and eyes in her designs. Our eyes are the mirror of our soul while hands symbolize softness and caring, as well as creativity.
Small, refined details, such as the decorative elements on the clothing and headwear, contrast with the somewhat rougher appearance of the chamotte that Marie added to the clay.
The inner surface and base have been finished with a transparent, matte glaze.
Dimensions: H33cmxW18cmxL20cm
Material: Stoneware
Color: Beige
Weight: 1.5kg
Design: Marie Michielssen

In 1986, Serax was established by Serge and Axel Van Den Bossche, two brothers who started the business in a garage. Over the course of two decades, their small factory grew into a multinational company headquartered in Antwerp, with over 65 employees.
Serax believes that the decoration of a home reflects the personality of its inhabitants, and therefore produces a wide variety of items - from tableware, glassware, and furniture, to flower pots and lighting - in order to create a beautiful and happy environment. Despite its rapid expansion, Serax has remained true to its core values, and all of its collections are still crafted by hand. Serax collaborates with several designers, resulting in successful collections.
Today, Serax is the go-to reference for Michelin-starred chefs who require porcelain or ceramics to enhance the presentation of their dishes.
