In the RUR:AL collection, ceramicist and sculptor Anita Le Grelle pays homage to the beauty and serenity of the natural world. The name itself, RUR:AL, not only reflects the rural, organic nature of the tableware but also signifies the initials of its talented designer.
The tableware in the RUR:AL collection is a testament to Le Grelle's dedication to nature-inspired design. With earthy colors and organic shapes, each piece not only adds beauty to the dining table but also creates a sense of harmony and tranquility.
The craftsmanship is impeccable, with attention to detail evident in every curve and texture.
Anita Le Grelle was born and raised in Antwerp, where she also gained her degree in graphic design. After working in advertising for a while, she moved to London with her family. While raising her kids there, she also attended sculpture classes at the Royal College of Art until achieving a diploma there too in 2000. For years, her works have been on display at numerous exhibitions in Belgium and London.
It was rather by coincidence that she ended up in the world of pottery in 2013.
